| Our philosophy and style can best be described by the following four points:
- We believe that by actively managing all drivers of performance, we are maximizing our chances of success while minimizing the portfolio's risk. This is why many types of decisions go into the construction of our clients' portfolios, which, as a result, become well diversified.
- We put great emphasis in preserving the capital of our clients, and therefore, we have a value bias.
- We believe we have an edge in analyzing macroeconomic factors and in identifying excesses at the stock selection level. Therefore, our approach is predominantly top-down.
- The vast quantity of financial and economic data readily available to investors makes it difficult for any individual or any team to objectively process all the information at hand. This is why, over the years, we have developed quantitative models aimed at supporting our fundamental research.
